A Weeks Worth of Happenings

I can hardly believe a week has gone by without sharing all that's happened. If you read my previous post, you know why and what I gained from staying absent. However, I've had SO much happen, I just have to share some highlights.

First, we had family visit for a special occasion. My youngest completed the requirements for his Eagle Scout award and we had a Court of Honor to recognize him. We had SO many people come and show support to my favorite boy that I'd be remiss if I didn't say THANK YOU to everyone who came. I'm so proud of his accomplishments I can't even begin to tell you how my heart swells.

Next, our little pooper had to have double knee surgery. He's been a trooper through it all. I still carry him up the stairs from outside and sometimes in the morning, but he's getting better each day. He's only one years old and has such a fabulous disposition and attitude, I'm proud of him. I especially love when he puts himself to bed after a long day of recovery and physical therapy.

Not only did our youngest get his Eagle award this last week, he also turned 18 and is officially an adult, (which I still can't hardly believe)

So much happening in such a short time. It's been a wonderful, exhausting, trying, enlightening, and proud week for all of us! Now you can see why I found it so hard to keep my social media fast with so much to share.

With my week finished and back to normal, (almost), and my social media fast still in effect. . . I've taken the time to sit and write a few things! Yes! Write! How exciting is that?!!

With love,

M.M. Roethig

(Last but not least, I needed to share this pictures because I love this wonderful man of mine.)
